Apprenticeship Program
High School
Human Resources works with local high schools to recruit current high school juniors and seniors to participate in a work-based learning program with the goal of training students in manufacturing skills and experience so they are prepared for full time employment upon graduation from high school. Under this program, selected high school juniors and seniors will be employed through a staffing agency and paid at the current staffing agency wage.
Technical Programs
Human Resources works with the local technical colleges to recruit students who are enrolled in certificate programs in skill areas needed by the company such as Industrial Maintenance, Welding, Waste Water, etc. Technical School Apprentices enrolled in selected programs will be eligible for direct hire either full or part time depending on academic requirements at the starting rate set for their academic specialty.
